Sue Dyde
Theatre Skills Facilitator / Director
After graduating in 1980 with a drama degree from Loughborough University Sue worked all over the country in small scale touring companies, theatre-in-education, community arts and a smidge of mainstream theatre. Highlights would be winning a Fringe First at Edinburgh Festival, a subsequent run at the Young Vic Theatre in London and then a British Council tour of Egypt.
Known as "Diva Belle" she came to live in Bradford in 1992, retrained and then spent over 10 years in a Manningham primary school as a class teacher/early years language and literacy specialist. Having escaped that in 2005 Sue has since been running her own micro theatre company Shoutdrama!
"I am so proud to be a co-director of Bradford Belles and to work with the extraordinary women that are the backbone of the brilliant town I now call home".
